Strong durable Cast Iron

5 star product. The cast iron is strong, and durable. It is completely well coated. I really thought it was 5qt since it’s pretty large. Perfect for our family of 4. I love that it’s also dishwasher-safe. The Color is beautiful, our kitchen color and theme is green and this fits just right. It seems its hard to find green kitchen products to match.

The most perfect green!!

The green is just gorgeous and I love the city gate detail on the knob! We have had no issues using it on our electric stovetop yet. I was able to fry latkes in oil without issue, and also simmered a red curry for about 30-40 minutes without any staining the enamel on the inside. If this pot holds up well over time I'll be sure to come back and increase this review to 5 stars -- my first impressions are all very positive, but I've only used it a few times so giving it 5 stars already feels a bit premature! I really hope this pot lasts a while though, it's so pretty. :) :)

Very Well Made ! Worth the money

Love love love this cast iron Dutch oven. I started cooking everything in it. Easy to clean and the perfect size for all my meals. Love the color and it’s really heavy. I just got mine and I hope it maintains its high quality throughout time . Highly recommend!

Use this for Everything

I honestly just got this to make my mom's 'famous' baked beans recipe. I've ended up using it way more though. I love it, it's sturdy and heavy and nothing sticks to it! It gets very hot and holds the heat well. I have nothing negative to say. I guess it's a little pricey, but it's worth it. Your kids will end up with this one day.

Multi-purpose!

I am in love with this pot/skillet. Nothing sticks. Pasta seems more saucy because the sauce doesn't stick to the bottom or sides. It is REALLY heavy, but you can make several parts of your meal in the one pot. Truly great for one pot meals. Cook the ingredients for your sauce, make sauce in blender, cook pasta in skillet (maybe with left over water from veggies), drain, add sauce, voila. And then you can put some cheese on top and throw it in the oven! It's awesome. Just don't forget the oven mitts, even if not using the oven. This skillet gets HOT, HOT, HOT.
