Clean Manly Smell

I have been seeing the Axe brand for a while. Curious, I decided to try their body wash. The body wash comes in a pack of 4 bottles. Each bottle has 18 oz of body wash. The mouth of the bottle has no security seal so all you need to start using it is to push the cap portion where it says “PRESS” and it will pop up. I can smell lavender and traces of amber and mint. The menthol cooling effect is subtle and not noticeable if you are like me taking a steaming hot shower. It can lather quickly creating a foam. My partner says it has a nice manly smell. It does not dry my skin and I love the smell of my body after using this product. This is an inexpensive alternative to a similar well-known brand with a white bird that costs $0.36 per ounce. This body wash selling at $23.96 with a 25% coupon code will just be $17.97 for a bottle of four, or $4.50 per bottle, or $0.25 per ounce. Note that without the 25% discount, this would be more expensive compared to others. This is paraben-free but contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS). I wish they use another way of creating foam instead of SLS. Stay away from this if you are sensitive to SLS. For the rest of us, you can give this a try and check if your partner would love that manly smell.

We are already a fan of axe products in our household, but this might just be our favorite product yet! The lavender is such a great addition. It has the nice relaxing lavender scent with a hint of mint that is really refreshing and nice. I love that it comes with 4 bottles so we will be stocked for a bit!

I actually really enjoy this scent. Smells very fresh and somehow relaxing. It lathers really well and didn’t dry out my skin.

Lavendar, menthol, & amber: bright, fresh scent, kinda reminds me of laundry soap, lather galor

When I think AXE products, I think strongly scented. Just like I think that if I hear Bath&BodyWorks. It is all going to be highly fragranced. The aroma profile on this is pleasant to me, but it reminds me a little of laundry detergent or something familiar of that ilk. Some will like it, some will not. Scent wise it is about even on the Lavendar and Mint (from Menthol), and is what I smell most of all. Has a fresh, bright aroma that is anchored with a hint of something else which is likely the amber. Rinses clean, doesnt strip skin despite including SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate)-- this is what gives products high lather and foam. For some, it can be irritating and is known to be drying and strip skin (and hair) of oil. Usually a company will add other ingredients to compensate for this effect. AXE is a love it or hate sort of product. It's pretty popular, and nothing about stands out negatively. Basically if you like this sort of product, then you may want to give this a try. Just depends on whether the scent seems appealing. 3.5 to 4 stars

Not huge fan of the scent

It’s really nice body wash, my husband honestly didn’t mind it at all, cleans well, large bottle and 4 of them will last a good while. Scent however for me personally not that attractive, I mean it’s not bad it’s just doesn’t have that masculine vibe to it. It’s pretty good but not favorite by any means, price however it’s really affordable, overall not bad.

This smells amazing!

This AXE body cleanser has a very pleasant aroma. The scent of mint that remains on my skin afterward is refreshing, and the sensation is just right. is long-lasting, and you may extend it by using a loofah bath sponge. I ordered the blue lavender smell and was hesitant to use it since I associate lavender with femininity, but this has a very masculine aroma. After a month of use, we haven't seen any allergic reactions.
