Worst Lamp Ever

I've had this lamp for 1 year when one of the bulb sockets burned out. It was used sparingly at my winter home which was unoccupied for 8 months. I changed bulbs and nothing helped. I have never had a lamp die within a year. Lamps typically last for years and years. I wrote to the Company and then after several calls they finally responded and essentially they would not stand by the product as there was only a 6 month warranty. Not a good product or company. I would rate a Zero if possible. Stay away.

Only lasted two months

I actually really like the lamp and the touch on/off feature. It worked great for two months and then the on/off feature stopped working. I have emailed Artiva but three days later and still no response.

I received the lamp about 3 weeks ago and am happy and satisfied with it..I like everything about it..Its stylish, modern and contemporary..And well made and it goes well and fits the decor of the room i got it for .I nearly didnt get it cuz it didnt have many reviews and the ones it did werent very favorable..Im glad i got it and didnt listen to them..The only thing i dont like about it is that light it gives could be brighter..It uses 2 40 watt bulbs and to me the light isnt very bright and the price i paid for it was a bit too much..I think it could have been at least $30 cheaper..

Beautiful

Pros: Good quality and design. Cons: It is convenient to replace regular bulbs with LED bulbs. I bought dimmable candelabra base LED bulbs 40W Equivalent, Daylight 300 lumens. They give a good illumination.

Beautiful composition of the metals and the finish. The frosted shade is a perfect complement to this finish, and it does not occupy much surface space which allows for good accompaniment on a working desktop. Were I to change anything about this product, it would be the shape of the shade. I would choose wider in the middle, more of an oval shape, which I feel would be nicer, aesthetically; particularly for a nightstand or accent lighting for a smaller area. The fact that it has two lightbulbs is wonderful! It's bright, and can be used at the softest setting for other needs. I recommend this product.

Very few would not like the design or function of this utilitarian lamp. Not small, certainly not too large.

Get them before they go LED which they have started selling. The best lights I have had a pair that finally gave up the plot after 20 years. I'm sure I could have ordered touch control kits. They're very heavy have a curved oblong glass shade it is not round. They're great in many applications when you don't want a honking big lamp with a fabric shade taking up so much room. I like the three light touch control. Just stock up on the bulbs they take as they're getting harder to find. I've switched most of my house from CFL now to LED. I never thought the light bulb would become so varied and complex. PROGRESS!

I'd Buy These Again

These lamps are a bit narrower than the old (broken) one I had to replace. That actually saved me a bit of space on my night table - unexpected bonus. But they are as bright, and perhaps a bit brighter than my old ones, which I was afraid they wouldn't be. You will need either very strong fingers or a pair of pliers to tighten the nut holding the lampshade to the two prongs of the base. But that's the only construction needed. Bulbs come with it, btw. I wasn't sure, so happy about that too. Overall, I'd definitely order these again knowing what I know now. (But hopefully these will last years - perhaps longer - like the other version of lamps we had.)

I've now bought three of these!

I looked all over for a contemporary-looking touch light for nightstands. I bought one of these as a trial and simply love it. No fumbling for a light switch when you're ready to call it a night. It has three settings of brightness. Low, medium and bright. A light tap cycles through and quickly turns off from the brightest setting--which isn't glaring. We just moved into a new house and I bought two more for the guest rooms. The only assembly is attaching the "shade" to the based with one simply interlocking screw. Looks lovely.
