Unit is DOA and the manufacturer doesn't answer the phone (updated)

The media could not be loaded. [Update] The company contacted me on the Monday after I left a message on their "Contact Us" page. They were closed on the weekend, but had no answering system on the phone so it just rang and rang. After sending them the attached video, the company promptly shipped me a replacement unit and didn't require me to deal with the headache of returning the DOA unit. After I received the new unit, and verified it worked, I decided to do an autopsy on the DOA unit. It needed a special screwdriver to open, which I finally got, and opened it up. The problem is shown in the attached picture. The shipping box of the original unit showed no sign of damage, so this damage must have happened before or during packing. The actual pressure washing seem reasonable like other ones I have used, but I'm not really in a position to make objective comparisons. I really like how everything attaches to the unit so that you don't need to worry about losing stuff. So, high marks on customer service (modulo not having an outgoing message on their phone when closed), but much more troubled quality control. In terms of performance of the unit, completely adequate. [Original Review] Upon unpacking the pressure washer I was worried when the place the garden hose connects to was just flopping around, but I thought perhaps internally it was just connected to a flexible tube or something. No, it's not connected at all. As soon as I turn on the faucet, water just streams out of the bottom of the washer. The shipping box/material showed no sign of damage. It's obvious this unit was never tested, but shipped out anyway. I called the support phone number and there is no answer. Now I'm stuck with the major pain of having to pack up the thing to return it, assuming Blue Clean is even still in business. Major disappointment.

2nd unit shipped that has this problem

The media could not be loaded. The garden hose adapter is loose. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me upon unboxing. I am about to exchange it for the 3rd time. Water falls right out of the bottom of the unit. Why is this adapter so loose?
