Perfect shirt

The only reason I didn’t give this stars because I feel like the material recently changed. Other than that. Perfect shirt washes well and doesn’t stink. Just becomes softer.

OMG! SO Comfortable

I had 100%cotton before and returned them. itching and tight after washing. I had another T-Shirt here from a part time job that was 50% Polyester, 25% Cotton, 25% Rayon and it was so comfortable. I need some T-Shirts for our cold winter months and these are fantastic.

Wrong color

Ordered T-shirts to make custom ones for work and attempted to buy black. Pictured is what arrived. It is quite gray, not black, so I’m a little disappointed with that but quality is great otherwise..

Soft but too baggy

I have several types of American Apparel shirts. This one fits bigger and baggier than any of the others. They are very comfortable and soft, I should have gone a full size smaller. I bought the 50/50 blend after and loved those.

Good shirt

Added pics because I absolutely despise that male models always hunch over and you never really get a great representation of how a shirt looks and fits. Anyway this review is after one cool wash/regular dry cycle and I must say it didn't really shrink and it still fits well. This shirt is also extremely soft; the materials are really great. The only con I will admit is the boxy fit, which is negligable and hardly noticeable because it's loose-fitting, but I also don't fancy tight fitting shirts. What's nice is the sleeves don't have "wings" and are narrower around than the typical box shirt. The shirt could maybe be like an inch longer like how the model picture is kind of showing but I can't say how tall that dude is anyway. I'm more partial to longer shirts because I'm 6'1. Overall great feeling and fitting shirt especially for the price. Will most likely buy again.

Best damn shirts ever made

American Apparel Tri-Blend shirts are so comfortable that I've converted a half-dozen of my friends over to them. They're WAY softer than any other blended-material shirt I've ever worn and I've worn a LOT of shirts in my lifetime. 5/5, will buy again when this set begins to wear out. Pro tip: wash with like colors in cold or "tap cold" washes. Don't bother with hot/warm washes unless they're legitimately "soiled" (oils, chemicals, etc). Not worth losing the softness or fit.

Very nice

Nice shirt. I have quite a few and wear them Pretty much everyday. I’m really happy you can still get them because this company isn’t around anymore (I think) this particular blend doesn’t shrink. Very soft & slim fit. So if you want a looser fit you should size up. I have aN XL and that fits nice but I went for the 2xl and it’s really nice

Amazing quality, very comfortable

Very comfortable material, fits well and does not shrink after machine washing and drying unlike many other products in the market. Be aware that this product needs one wash before you try it on.

One of the softest shirts I have ever owned, But I am worried about it shrinking in the wash.

This is hands down the softest shirt I own. American Apparel is known for its shirts to shrink, so I am curious how it will hold up. I love tri-blend shirts, and typically they don't shrink up as much as cotton shirts.

Disappointed

I’m a big fan of American Apparel. I’ve been wearing there t-shirt for over a decade. This is the first time I have a hole on an American Apparel t-shirt after using it 2 times only. I wonder if it’s the same product…
