Great Tri-Ply Non-Stick Pan
So far so good. Why spend $150 on a non stick pan that you're going to replace after a couple years. I've had All Clad in both nonstick and plain tri-ply. My regular All Clad has lasted for decades but the nonstick becomes worn or scratched after two or three years no matter how much care I take with it. I'm trying this pan for 1/4 the price to see if it's going to last as long. The description lists it as 70% stainless and 30% aluminum. They must be counting the handle in the stainless measurement. The actual pan is more like 60% aluminum and 40% stainless (see photos, L to R Amazon, All Clad D3, All Clad Copper Core). The exterior layer of stainless is thicker than the interior layer and both layers are thicker than on an All Clad aluminum and copper core pans. Still, the pan works fine for the kinds of cooking you do on non-stick. And neither my wife nor I have any problems with the handles being thin or uncomfortable. The pans are heavier than hard anodized aluminum but sit flat on the burner and are a pleasure to use.

Food doesn't stick
I bought this pan after I bought an induction cooktop and my existing nonstick pans wouldn't work on the new cook top. The primary food I cook in this pan is eggs. All types of eggs, fried, omelets, scrambled etc. One spritz of cooking spray and the egg dishes slide around easily. Scrambled agg with cheese, no problem, slow cook French style scrabled eggs, no problem. My only issues with the pan is minor. I did not buy a lid and my old 8 inch lids did not fit tightly. The lids did fit and loosely and we're adequate for what I needed. I recommend this pan, especially if you have and induction cooktop.

Good non-stick option for induction
I bought the 8" pan primarily as as a supplement to our tr-clad stainless steel pans we use on our induction range. This pan is used 90% for fried eggs and so far it works well. This is a legitimate induction compatible pan and not the junk with a small metal puck stuck on the bottom. Its nonstick performance is decent though not amazing. Eggs first stick just slightly but they release with a simple tap. We do cook our eggs with a bit of oil so I can't comment on what it does without any. I saw another review complaining about the handle which I thought was silly, but now that I have the pan I have to agree that my one complaint is the handle, it's much too thin and is incredibly uncomfortable in the hand. It's not a deal breaker for this small 8 inch pan but I think this would prevent me from buying one of the larger pans in the future. I can't comment on the durability since we've only had it for a short time, I'll update the review if I discover anything.

Good while it lasted which - which is about 18 months
We bought the 12" version of this pan about 18 months ago and it has been our main workhorse in the kitchen for basic items that can be used on a non-stick. The weight is good, heats pretty evenly over an induction stove, really no complaint until yesterday. The description on the page says that it's dishwasher safe and we have been putting it in the dishwasher but it has started peeling from the seam where the liner joins the pan. Kind of a bummer. Warranty is good for a year, so we can't replace without purchasing a new one. According to America's Test Kitchen good pans should be lasting for 5-7 years when taken care of. We aren't playing the drums on these things and are using the proper oil so I have no idea what would cause the liner to peel from the seam aside from being cheaply made or poorly manufactured. Incidentally the OXO pan that ATK recommends is less than this one (at least as I leave this review on 12/15/22). In summation - it is good while it works but don't expect to get more than 2 years out of it.

Great buy, with some quibbles
I wanted a tri-ply stainless steel nonstick pan with vertical sides to compliment my All-Clad d3 nonstick stainless set fry pan skillets. The Amazon Commercial pans fit the bill nicely. With the exception of the sides' profile the Commercials are look-alikes to the All-Clad pans. Their heating characteristics are similar, as is their balance, but the Commercials are noticeably heavier. Their 500°F oven rating is less than the ACs' 600°F but how many times do you put a pan in an over higher than 500°F? The Commercial's pan edges look like non-drip but they aren't, and I count that a drawback to a saute profile pan. The mirrored finish accentuates the drip. Not an issue if y'[re careful but a missing detail. The handles are thinner than the AC handles, requiring an adjustment when handling. But my lady friend is happy with them in her smaller hand so your mileage may vary on this point. I have a sense that the nonstick won't be as durable as the AC's but at 1/3 the cost of the AC's that's a non-issue. The other quibble I have is that the pans aren't sized well. I have Farberware glass and Nordic Ware stainless lids that fit all my other 8" and 10" pans precisely, but not as well on the Commercials. Those lids fit the Amazon Basics pans precisely so I don't understand this difference. I have universal lids that will work so I'm trying to overlook this (but the universals don't do oven duty as the Nordic Ware does). Not everyone will agree with my quibbles so in sum, I say the Amazon Commercial pans are a great buy and will do well by an owner who knows how to cook with tri-ply stainless steel. They're a good compliment to All-Clad pans, and save having to resort to anodized aluminum for a non-stick interior or knockabout pans.

Teflon doesn't last
Great cookware to use, very solid and even-heating, but the teflon coating began to peel around edges at 4 months of home use. Cooked low to medium heat, dishwasher cleaned.

Works well, doesn't last.
I used this pan pretty much every day, sometimes twice a day. It has great even heating and browns food well for a nonstick. BUT. I purchased this pan in August and after four months of daily use and washing, the nonstick coating is peeling off and I have to throw it out. This pan is more expensive than others because the metal part is high quality, but that doesn't matter if the nonstick goes. Either buy a cheap-o pan that won't last, or a name brand one which will last for years. This is stuck in the middle; the price is too high for its durability.

Nonstick peeled off, rusted, no warranty
Bought 1 year ago, and it started peeling off at about 10 months. Amazon offers NO WARRANTY for own brand products, even for defective goods after the return window closes. The logic of buying a cheap nonstick pan is that the nonstick gets scratched up and you throw the pan out after 3-4 years. We'll this one still has good nonstick life except the nonstick is no longer stuck and now it is rusting! I would not recommend this pan even for heavy commercial use because you're definitely going to get more life out of a better quality pan. Further, I wouldn't recommend amazon brand anything now that I have discovered the awful lack of support when amazon is the manufacturer, retailer, and customer service. Total trash.

Peeling non-stick - save your money.
Purchased two months ago, used less than 10 times - non-stick peeling off. I purchased this frying pan because of the 'commercial' label...which should mean it's up for a substantial beating. But it turns out it if you just give it a light tickle with a couple of omelettes and a few runs through the dishwasher and it keels over and dies. This frying pan is far from the heavyweight it claims to be. In fact, our £12.99 frying pan from Wilkos has already survived about 100x more usage than this. A couple of further uses and the peeling is now much worse than that pictured. NOTE: When I talked to customer services I was offered a refund, but have to jump through a million hoops to make the return. Given that the product is not fit for purpose, if they insist on having it returned, you would think that would make it easy.

Terrible design - horrid handle - cant hold it safely
The design is all wrong - maybe a man with strong hands doesnt mind but I cant hold this as the handle is too long & thin so I cant grip it - its quite heavy - even my husband agrees - so I havent tried it as its not safe. Most handles thicken up part way so they are wide enough to grip - this one doesnt and wil take advantage of the free returns - Tefal here we come !

Lasted 10 weeks of occasional use
Very poor quality, it lasted 10 weeks of occasional use before the nonstick coating came away. As you can see from the picture, it’s as thin as paper.

Tough cookie
Have a new glass hob so wanted to ensure I had the right cookware. This is a heavy little dude but is not too big so I can lift it (I have osteo-arthritis in my wrists). Easy to clean and excellent cooking results.
