Excellent for cooking ribs in oven

5 hours at 250 and falling off the bone tenderness throw some sauce on and put in broiler for a few minutes and your set

Everything we hoped Mylar would do but doesn’t: Update!

These bags are good for throwing “a meal in a bag” on a campfire, home oven, Dutch oven, or BBQ. With meat or TVP, corn, onions and a dash of oil & garlic, and/or BBQ sauce, one can cook up a tasty and filling meal. But the other, perhaps more interesting fact, is that they absolutely block cell phone calls and texts! These foil bags do what we wish Mylar bags would do: they absolutely shield your electrical devices from EMP, not to mention snoops & scoundrels. A clever person would put their device (cell phone, Voltmeter, calculator, iPad, etc.) in a plastic baggie and then place both in a Kingsford pouch. Fold the foil bag closed with 2-3 creases and voila! - The foil bags are a tad less stout than you might wish if you are girding your loins for TEOTWAWKI, or a Carrington grade cataclysm. You might consider a freezer grade plastic baggie or a Mylar bag here at the end of your packing to hold your Kingsford foil bag? Store this layered package in your EMP-resistant metal garbage can and who knows. You might thwart a “super-EMP” device ...and have a keen foil bag left over for the evening bbq! - I’ll try to update this review with some glowing and trenchant observations after someone lobs the big one. 30Sep21: Addenda: I retested the EMP protection and it didn’t work. Humm, stay tuned for an update.

First time ordering & using

This was the first time that I ordered these and first time using them. We bought them to use on our grill when we are camping works really well. Wish I could find bigger packs this one only has 4 in the pack.

Lower your price

These are good for grilling out however they cost to much , it is cheaper to two pieces of foil . It would be nice to see a cheaper version and sale them in stores

Works well!

These are great for camping. We load them with vegetables, fish or meat (add some oil and spices) and put them on a grill over the fire. In 30 minutes you have the moistest, most delicious, slightly caramelized roasted vegetables, fish that is like you poached it, and meat that is so tender its falling apart. Totally worth it! Makes camp cooking super easy.

Best way to cook fish in the BBQ

The best thing for cooking fish on the BBQ Put in the fish, put chopped up veggies and oil and seasoning in. Cook for 39 mins turning once on medium. Perfect fish every time
