Classy dress
This is a beautifully made dress! Stunning, very classy and elegant. I ordered a 12 petite and it fits like a glove. Also, age appropriate for women 20 years old to 70 years old…timeless style perfect for a wedding. Worth every penny!

Strange fabric
As others have mentioned, this is a beautiful dress that fits great and is flattering however the fabric is weird for an evening dress. The arm fabric is a bit different than the dress fabric, my husband said it feels like a latex balloon and I think that’s a fair assessment. The dress part fabric is like a bathing suit. It doesn’t look like that but definitely feels overall rubbery. The unhemmed dress and sleeves didn’t bother me. Ultimately I returned it because of the fabric.

Felt Beautiful at Son’s Wedding!
After ordering 10 Alex Evenings dresses, this was the winner! I am 5’7”, 190 pounds, and purchased a perfect fitting size 16, as recommended. The lycra cannot be steamed or ironed; instead, dip wrinkles in water and they disappear. Yes, the dress is unhemmed swimsuit material, but it sucked me into a svelte woman and shedded raindrops. Received numerous compliments and no one could tell I was hiding a breast prosthesis. This dress is magic! Do not hesitate. Buy it!

Flattering style, but... Swim suit material?!
The style of the dress is beautiful and flattering, but it feels terrible! As mentioned in other reviews, the fabric is like a thick, rubbery swim suit material and has no hems. I've never seen anything like it before. It would have been perfect if it were more of a chiffon fabric. Why would they use swim suit material for a semi-formal dress?! With regard to size, I'm typically between a size 6 and 8. The 8 fit great. The 6 would have been too tight in that material.

Amazing dress
Fits pretty true to size, although I worn same design for my sons wedding a few years ago I have gained weight but bought the same size. It washes up great (no dry clean for me just be careful), looks amazing, hides the flaws and is as comfortable as a yoga clothes. I am wearing this one to a business event, fitting for most dressy occasions. bought several colors and returned but only because I have gotten bigger, or would have kept them all

Attractive gray dress
I liked the color of this dress and the style was attractive. Unfortunately, it was a little too fitted across the back and hips. I didn’t mind the unfinished hemline, but didn’t like how it worked on the sleeves. There was a little cinching, but not enough to look right. The overall size and length were right for my 5’0” x 150 lb frame, just a little too tight across my bottom.
